Legal
Effective September 1, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Tickana to buy, sell, or attend events.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tickana's website, mobile apps, and related services (the “Services”), operated by Tickana, Inc. (“Tickana,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, browsing events, purchasing or selling tickets, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase on Tickana. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tickana.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You agree to provide accurate, current information when creating and maintaining your account.
4.1 Browsing and Discovery. Tickana lets you browse and search for live events, including concerts, sports, theater, and comedy shows listed by organizers and other users.
4.2 Purchasing Tickets. When you buy a ticket through Tickana, you're entering into a transaction for admission to the applicable event, subject to any additional terms set by the event organizer or venue (such as bag policies, age restrictions, or entry requirements). Tickana facilitates the transaction but is not the organizer of third-party events unless expressly stated.
4.3 Selling and Listing Tickets. If you list a ticket for resale, you represent that you have the right to sell it, that it's valid and unused, and that the information in your listing is accurate. Tickana may remove listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4.4 All Sales Are Final. Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, all ticket sales are final. If an event is postponed, your ticket will generally remain valid for the new date; if an event is cancelled, you'll be refunded to your original payment method as described in Section 6.
Ticket prices displayed on Tickana may include a service fee, which is disclosed before you complete your purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe and PayPal); by making a purchase, you also agree to those processors' applicable terms. Sellers listing tickets for resale agree to the seller fee disclosed at the time of listing, deducted from the payout after a sale.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Section, and may cancel associated orders or listings.
If you submit reviews, messages, or other content through the Services (“User Content”), you grant Tickana a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You're responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to share it.
The Services, including their design, text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Tickana or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services except as expressly permitted.
The Services may reference or link to third-party websites, event organizers, or services that Tickana doesn't control. We're not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your interactions with them are solely between you and that third party.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Tickana does not guarantee that events listed on the Services will take place as scheduled, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tickana will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Tickana's total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Tickana in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold Tickana, its officers, employees, and agents harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Most concerns can be resolved by contacting our support team at support@tickana.com. If a dispute can't be resolved informally, you and Tickana agree that it will be resolved through binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court. You and Tickana each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, Tickana, or third parties. You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time.
